Teacher’s Day is a day both students and teachers look forward to every year. Of course there are various reasons for this.
For Students:
1. No Lessons, only Celebrations
2. Showing gratitude to their teachers and showering teachers with LUXURIOUS gifts
3. For those who are no longer in primary school, a chance to visit their alma mater and get together with ex-schoolmates and teachers.
4. For those who don’t visit their primary schools, an opportunity to go out with like-minded friends.
5. Of course, a holiday the next day :)
For Teachers:
1. No lessons ( no need to teach, nag)
2. Finally some appreciation from those kids
3. Gifts, lots and lots of them (if your students like you, if not, too bad )
4. Enjoying performances put up by students for their teachers (Quality of performances, that’s another matter… It’s the thought that counts right?)
5. Visits from ex-students who make you feel appreciated ( and lets you realize that you’re getting old)
Of course, these are just some of the few reasons why people look forward to Teacher’s Day.
The highlight of today’s celebrations would be, needless to say, the performance by 4I1. Your Bittersweet Addiction singing “You And Me”. Jerome with his dance moves, Popping rocks ttm :)
Suck balls, no one wanted to go back Montfort. Outing with PFEST instead!
